Invitation to Kwara State Government Conference on Education

The Concerned Parents and Educators (CPE) group had the honor of attending the Kwara State Government Conference on Education held on November 14, 2024, at the Banquet Hall in Ilorin, Kwara State. The event was led by our esteemed State Coordinator, Baseera Lawal-Ibrahim, at the invitation of the state government.

Theme: FUTURE-READY EDUCATION: Advancing in STEM and Skills Development for Nigerian Youth

The conference’s theme, “FUTURE-READY EDUCATION: Advancing in STEM and Skills Development for Nigerian Youth,” underscores the importance of equipping our youth with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. As technology continues to advance and reshape industries, the focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education and skills development becomes increasingly critical

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Kwara State Government and the organizers, particularly the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kwara State on Education, Policy Formation, and Human Capital Development, Dr. Adetola Salawu, for inviting CPE to this important event. The conference provided a valuable platform for stakeholders to discuss strategies and initiatives that can enhance the quality of education and better prepare our youth for future challenges.

CPE remains committed to supporting and collaborating with the government and other agencies to achieve the desired standards of education that will benefit future generations. We believe that by working together, we can create an educational environment that fosters innovation, critical thinking, and practical skills essential for personal and national development.

As we move forward, CPE will continue to advocate for policies and programs that prioritize STEM education and skills development. We will also engage with educators, policymakers, and the community to ensure that our youth are well-prepared to contribute to the growth and prosperity of Nigeria.
