On The 5th of May 2019,CPE organized a campaign to donate 5 wheel Chairs for super parents. A total of 1.308million naira was made and 860,000 was used to purchase the Wheelchairs.
The wheelchairs were not just ordinary wheelchairs, they are Cerebral Palsy Wheelchairs which have a power tilt or tilt in space and can pivot 30 – 60 degrees upward with the push of a button(or manually) while keeping the hips and knees at 90 degrees angle.
This is quite different from the normal Wheelchair that is manual, this is a configured and automatic wheelchair. It was a great joy to the hearts of the Special kids and their super parents as they received their gifts from CPE.
After the Wheelchairs disbursement, a Balance of 448000 was still remaining and CPE donated two wheelchairs to Jesus kid’s house.
